New · Works with Claude and ChatGPT

Ask your AI assistant about your students

tiimli connects to Claude and ChatGPT through a secure, read-only MCP connector. Once connected, you can ask about your IEP, RTI, SPED, and 504 support sessions in plain language — no exporting, no copy-and-paste, no spreadsheets.

What you can ask

Your assistant reads the sessions you've already logged in tiimli, so the answers come from your real records.

“How many IEP minutes did I log with Maya this month?”

Totals the minutes from your logged sessions for one student.

“Which of my students haven't I met with in the last two weeks?”

Compares your student list against your recent sessions.

“Summarize Jordan's reading sessions before Thursday's IEP meeting.”

Reads session dates, activities, results, and notes into a short brief.

“Break down my sessions by activity for my 3rd grade small group.”

Groups one classroom's sessions by activity and result type.

“Draft a friendly update for Liam's parents based on his last six sessions.”

Turns your own session notes into a first draft you can edit.

“When did I last generate a progress report for each student?”

Checks your report history so nobody falls through the cracks.

Connect in about a minute

You'll need a tiimli account and a Claude or ChatGPT plan that supports custom connectors. During the beta it's included on every tiimli plan; after the beta it will be a Premium feature. Use this server URL:

https://www.tiimli.co/api/mcp

Connect to Claude

You stay in control

Read-only

Your assistant can look things up but can't create, edit, or delete sessions.

You approve it

Nothing is shared until you sign in to tiimli and approve the connection.

Only your data

Secure OAuth sign-in with short-lived tokens. The assistant only sees your own classrooms and students.

Disconnect anytime

Revoke access instantly from Settings → Connected Apps.

Once your data reaches Claude or ChatGPT, it's handled under that provider's privacy terms. Check your school or district's AI and student-data policies before connecting.

Frequently asked questions

Can I connect tiimli to ChatGPT or Claude?
Yes. tiimli has a built-in MCP (Model Context Protocol) server, so you can add it as a custom connector in Claude or ChatGPT using the URL https://www.tiimli.co/api/mcp. After you sign in and approve access, your AI assistant can answer questions about your classrooms, students, logged support sessions, and report history.
Can the AI assistant change or delete my session data?
No. The tiimli connector is read-only. Your assistant can look up classrooms, students, sessions, report history, and your plan, but it cannot create, edit, or delete anything. You keep logging sessions in the tiimli web or iOS app.
How do I disconnect Claude or ChatGPT from tiimli?
Go to Dashboard → Settings → Connected Apps in tiimli and click Disconnect. Access is revoked immediately, and the assistant will need your approval again to reconnect.
Is it safe to use student data with an AI assistant?
tiimli only shares data with an assistant after you sign in and explicitly approve the connection, uses OAuth with short-lived tokens, and only ever returns your own records. Once data reaches Claude or ChatGPT it is handled under that provider's privacy terms, so check your school or district's AI and student-data policies before connecting, and use an account type your district has approved.
Which tiimli plans include the Claude and ChatGPT connector?
During the beta, the connector is available on every tiimli plan, including Free. After the beta ends, it will be a Premium plan feature.
What is MCP?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT securely connect to apps and data sources. tiimli's MCP server is what lets your assistant read your session data with your permission.
